Meet Our Founder
Founded by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 18.5 years of dedicated service and a profound love for baseball and softball. Drawing from a lifelong passion for the sport and extensive coaching experience with youth teams in Okinawa, Japan, and across North County San Diego, our founder envisioned The Unit Performance Cages as a year-round training facility where athletes can hone their skills, cultivate values, and excel both on and off the field.
Drawing from 18.5 years of leadership, mentoring, and training young adults in the Marine Corps, our founder infuses our training programs with discipline and excellence. With over a decade of coaching baseball and softball teams in Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, and abroad, our founder’s coaching expertise is the cornerstone of our athlete development approach. Additionally, hands-on experience in managing athletic teams, designing training programs, and building athlete development systems ensures that every athlete receives top-tier guidance and support.
